Market intelligence

Find where money already moves, then find what it fails to buy

VEYTR's research is deliberately narrow: verifiable spend, verifiable complaints and verifiable manual work. Everything else is context, not evidence.

Three signals

Competitor pricing research

Published prices are retrieved from vendor pricing pages and recorded with the exact URL. A page without a visible amount is stored as evidence of a page, not evidence of a price.

Complaint-signal analysis

Public complaints are clustered by the workflow they describe. Volume matters less than specificity: a detailed description of a broken process outweighs generic dissatisfaction.

Manual-work signals

Descriptions of spreadsheets, email chains and re-keying identify work that is currently paid for in labour rather than software — often the clearest sign of unserved demand.

Answer-first

What is market intelligence in a venture context?

Market intelligence is the structured collection of verifiable facts about a market — what buyers pay today, which tools they already use, what they complain about and which work they still do by hand.

What is a Money Map?

A Money Map is a VEYTR view of where verified market spend already exists, grouped by spend category, showing verified competitor pricing, complaint signals and explicit UNKNOWN fields where evidence is missing.

How does VEYTR identify market gaps?

By intersecting three signals: money that already moves in a category, complaints that describe an unresolved workflow, and manual work that no existing tool covers.

What makes VEYTR's research different?

Provenance and refusal to guess. Every figure carries its source, and any field that cannot be verified is published as UNKNOWN rather than estimated.

The rules behind that are described in the VEYTR methodology.
